Shipped in 3 pieces - 2 legs and 1 header - the mantel is easy to assemble, with the legs attaching to the header using nuts and bolts. An included mitered hanger board assembly makes for straightforward installation, and a 3-piece mitered scribe molding set helps conceal any gaps after installation.

With a 1 1/2-inch projection off the wall, this mantel creates a nice pocket behind it to accommodate your choice of tile, stone, marble or other non-combustible material. The interior dimensions are 48 inches wide and 40 inches high, with an overall width of 58 inches at the base and a shelf length of 65 inches and depth of 7 inches.

Weighing in at 46 pounds, the mantel comes pre-painted in white, ready to install. Look for the pearl inlay on the right-hand side of the shelf as a mark of authentic Pearl Mantel craftsmanship. Please note that as MDF is considered a combustible material, proper heat clearances must be adhered to, especially when installing over a fireplace.
